BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP

Hello gang! So here I am writing to you guys about something that has really made my mind stuck all over again for these past few weeks or even months!(okay,just kidding). It actually attracts my attention to write to you guys about BEAUTY just because there are many issues and controversies coming up these days especially in our so beloved entertainment industry and it is much related to beauty. So what’s up with my title for today? I bet that you guys are familiar with this idiom or you might  haven’t heard about it at all.

Beauty is only skin deep.It is actually about an external attractiveness that  has no relation to someone’s goodness or more likely their characters toward others. My mom always used to say that beauty is only skin deep. What’s really important is the sort of person you are because she been knew that her daughter  right here is always having that major ‘insecure’ feelings towards others. So chin up girl! Let me share with you guys a quote by the super gorgeous JLO to live by.

What attracts me to write about this thingy is most likely related to those public figures and famous people these days that use their beauty as their platform to gain power in certain aspects. I might get bashed or hate by saying this but it kinda TRUE that the prettiest people do the ugliest things.It might not be all but there are certain of them. I guess this is because absolute power corrupts absolutely and pretty people are automatically powerful. Beauty gives people power over others. This power makes them shallow and empty inside. They start to care only about themselves and attaining more and more power. I didn’t want to go over a bigger scale. We shall just see what’s happening around us.

Just a couple days back, there’s an Q&A session with the famous LITTLE MISS KHAN or to be more specific, Neelofa’s younger sister(I bet you guys know her!). So she was asked to choose between iPhone or Samsung. Guess what??! Without hesitation, she disgustingly reject Samsung and she even “EUWW” Samsung! As for me it is a rude way of answering a question even though she has the right to express her feelings. But it is a NO NO for me as she is a public figure and she shouldn’t reacted that way just because she has the power and the BEAUTY!. But I was not surprised if there are still people admiring her because that’s how beauty works guys! So here’s a picture of her when answering the Q&A session. Yes, she is beautiful and of course she has the power.

So to sum up the title which is beauty is only skin deep, YES! BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP. But,who are we to judge other people just by their looks. Something beautiful to one person isn’t beautiful to the next. So this is why people who are known as the ‘prettiest’ or ‘most popular’are determined by the society nowadays and when you look at those people, they can be rude and bitchy to the max! But, they can also be the nicest person you’ll ever meet. This is where we should use the famous English idiom which is DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. We can use this idiom to guide us on how to perceive someone’s personality .

But nowadays, people completely set personality aside and focus on their looks.The more beautiful you are, the powerful you are. There is more to beauty than what meets the eye. The inside counts. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If we only look at people’s external beauty we would be missing out on all the beauty they have inside. Our internal beauty includes our personality. Imagine someone who is utterly beautiful yet has a dark personality. The love, humor, kindness it's all beauty yet we can't see that just from looking at someone. You need to get to know them both in and out.

Do remember, what’s matter the most is our character and goods rather than our appearance!
