BEAUTY ON POINT
Greetings, readers! It is me, Qasrina, finally posting my entry for the month and I must say I have been quite busy lately with all the assignments piling up. (Not to forget the deadlines too, phew!) Anyways, I just felt like sharing with you guys about how the perception towards beauty vary for each and every individual in the world. In what ways, you may ask? Well, I believe that everyone has their own definition of beautiful, their own ‘beauty on point’ I would say, be it from possessing unique facial features to having a nice heart and of course there are reasons behind every opinion. So, what are your beauty on fleek? You tell me! In this particular entry, I would like to focus on the physical features that different people find charming and stunning in a person or a society, generally.

“What is that?”
“Oh my god!”
“Wow, fascinating!”
“Does it hurt?”
Looking at the picture above, I am very confident that everybody would have all of these in their heads. Well, maybe because that was initially my reaction towards the picture, too. Realize it or not, believe it or not, the lip plating for women in Ethiopia symbolizes their traditional beauty and female maturity and the males there find these very beautiful (In fact, the bigger, the better!) By contrast, we would think that this particular feature was rather weird and not attractive, but Ethiopian men love it! However, there are a whole lot more distinctions in what other people from different countries find pretty and attractive.

Beautiful women from all over the world |
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. As the saying goes on, we all know that the insights of beauty differ between everyone. Take the lip plating of Ethiopians for example. French guys prefer women with natural looks whereas we the Asians, definitely will turn our heads towards women wearing makeup and donning fashionable outfits, right? However, it all depends on the person themselves whether how to perceive beauty.
Wow, I did not realize I have written that much in this entry! So tiring (just kidding) Last but not least, I just want to highlight that everyone is beautiful in their own way and we should always respect other people’s perception of beauty, be it skinny, chubby cheeks or even any unique facial features as I believe that every individual has different ways of viewing beauty eventhough if there is only a slight difference between the others. Alright, I think that is all I want to share with you guys for this entry. If you guys have any questions or any information you would like to know in detail, you guys are free to drop some comments below! 😁
Until then, lovelies ❤
